The Story

We are very excited about our journey through The Story!

What is it? The Story is a chronological NIV Bible that has the individual book names and verses removed so as to read like a novel and is divided into 31 chapters.

What’s The Big Deal? Over the course of 31 weeks every aspect of ministry at OCC is going to be engaging God’s Word in a new and exciting way! Our Life Groups, Oasis Kids, Youth Gatherings, and our Sunday Gatherings will each week be on the same chapter as we move through the Bible as a congregation. This means that adults are connecting with other adults as they engage the Word, kids are learning the same story each week as their parents, and parents are equipped with the tools to engage their children at home with the Bible. The best part? At the end of our journey, every person in our church will have read through the entire Bible, learning to see the Upper Story and our Lower Story through the Word.
